Mother’s Day can be a bitter sweet day for some of us for many reasons. We may find it difficult to celebrate due to death, illness, geographical separation or relationship difficulties. Michelle’s very first Mother’s Day as a mother herself in 2003 was also her first Mother’s Day without her own mother. It was tough. Fifteen years on she still misses her but she also celebrates the gift that motherhood is, in all it’s forms.
