The group keeps a good stock of tools to use for the protection and promotion of wildlife. Tasks include pond digging, cutting of grass and scrub, tree felling and planting. These are undertaken on a range of properties, primarily on the group’s own nature reserves – acquired to prevent destruction. One of the reserves is a natural burial ground.
