A forum to enable patients and their carers to discuss mutual problems and to hear the experiences of other patients, guided by by Health Care Professionals. To up-date knowledge and learn of recent developments in treatments by listening to Consultants or Nurses who practice in the Urinary/Oncology field. To provide advice and information for recently diagnosed patients and their carers. To offer further advice on where to go for further help or re-assurance on Prostate Cancer. The discussions between the members also act as a resource to the Health Care providers (if they ask for advice on a particular element of care) by sharing our expertise to shape care delivery in the future. Occasional social activities.
